Rationale:-

The current Foreign Trade Policy was announced on 1st April, 2015 and last updated on 5th December, 2017 with various land mark changes and features. This has recently been extended upto 31st March,2021. FTP contains various Export Incentives both pre & post.

In addition to FTP, there are new Emerging Export Incentives like Free Trade Agreements, Preferential Trade Agreements and Line of Credit, the knowledge about which is lacking among exporters. There is little realization among exporters of the impact these emerging Incentives have in arriving at competitive export price.

Needless to add that knowledge about existing as well as emerging export incentives is the key to success in export business.

Objective:-

The objective of this program is to acquaint the participants with nuances of existing as well as emerging export incentives and thereby make their business more profitable and enable them to compete in the International Market more effectively.

Deemed exports! It is a widely spread misunderstood concept in India. What is unique about deemed exports is that as a concept it is only applicable in India and nowhere else in the World.

The corporates, exporters International Marketers throughout India understand the term in their own way without understanding the real term and the meaning behind it.

If understood in the right context, Deemed Export can serve as an effective tool for all manufacturing organizations in India engaged in export of their products to enhance their export turnover and combat the cycles of economic slowdown and competition World over. Under WTO mandate even if some Export Incentives are abolished by Government of India, Deemed Export will continue to prevail since it is fully compatible with WTO guidelines.
