Introduction

Exporters and Importers need to have adequate knowledge of the rules and regulations laid down under Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) conveyed by RBI through various circulars. These relate to manner of payment, time limit for export receipt / import payment and documents, evidence to submitted to the bank for reconciliation of entries under EDPMS and IDPMS as stipulated by RBI.

With this end in view the “Program on RBI/ FEMA Regulations“ has been designed to equip the exporters / importers and also junior officers in the trade finance department of the bank with the various rules, regulations and procedures communicated through FEMA Notifications and RBI Master Directions (Circulars) for proper monitoring of export and import payments..

Mr. K. Rajasekaran

Corporate Trainer and Ex-Banker SBI

Mr. K Rajasekaran is a Corporate Trainer and Visiting Faculty in banking and finance. He has more than 20 years of experience in banking and over 10 years of experience in teaching and training. He has been a Sr Executive with State Bank of Travancore (since merged with SBI) and Global Trust Bank.

He has long experience in Corporate/ SME banking, Trade Finance, Forex and banking operations. He has been regularly conducting training programs on Export Import Procedures and Documentation, Inco Terms, Letters of Credit /UCP 600 and INCOTERMS 2020, RBI Guidelines / FEMA Regulations for export/import, Trade Finance for Exporters and Importers, Finance for Non-Finance Managers and many more.

Representatives have attended his programs from corporates like Hindustan Aeronautics / Bharat Electronics/Caterpillar/ Mangalore Refineries / Adani Power / Gujarat Ambuja Exports / Chennai Petroleum Corporation etc.

He is B.com, C.A.I.I.B. and currently he is a visiting faculty at Ahmedabad Management Association, ISBR Business School, Bangalore and Chennai Management Academy.
